Twins Fall To Guardians
(Cleveland, OH) — The Cleveland Guardians have won back to back games after topping the Minnesota Twins Wednesday night 4-2.
Luis Ortiz started for the Guardians and struck out five over six-plus scoreless innings to earn the win. Bo Naylor slugged a three-run homer for his fourth long ball of the season, propelling Cleveland to the win.
Pablo Lopez suffered the loss after allowing two runs on four hits over six-and-a-third-innings.
Byron Buxton netted his 100th stolen base. Brooks Lee hit his second home run of the season for Minnesota, which is now 13-18. Cleveland is 17-13.
The Twins are going for the series split with a matinee game today in Ohio.
First pitch is set for 12:10 PM.
