Twins Fall To Yankees, Wrap Up Series Tonight

New York slugger Giancarlo Stanton put together a dominant performance as the Yankees beat the Minnesota Twins last night in the Bronx 9-1. Stanton went 4-for-5 with a home run and three R-B-I, while Aaron Judge and Anthony Volpe also went deep. Carlos Rodon earned his 12th win after holding the Twins to one run on one hit in seven innings. The Yankees are in third place in the A-L East at 64-56. Travis Adams was charged with his second loss after surrendering four runs on four hits in two-and-a-third innings. The Twins are in fourth place in the A-L Central at 56-63. The final game of the three-game series is tonight at Yankee Stadium at 6:05 P-M.
