Twins Lose In K-C

(Minnesota News Network- Kansas City, MO) — The Minnesota Twins surrendered a pair of runs in the seventh inning and lost to the Royals Kansas City 3-2 yesterday. Minnesota lost three of four in the series in Missouri. The Twins led by a run entering the inning, but Cole Sands wasn’t able to keep the lead and was charged with the loss. Bailey Ober held the Royals to one run on five hits in six innings of work, while Ty France homered in the losing effort. Cole Sands took the loss out of the bullpen for Minnesota. The 4-9 Twins send David Festa to the mound against the Detroit Tigers tonight at 7:10 P-M at Target Field.
