Twins Lose Series To D’Backs
The Arizona Diamondbacks took the rubber match of their weekend series against the Minnesota Twins 6-4 yesterday at Target Field. James McCann homered and drove in four runs during the victory, while Nabil Crismatt earned his third win after allowing two unearned runs on three hits in five innings. The D-Backs are two games out of the final N-L Wild Card spot. Matt Wallner and Mickey Gasper both homered in the losing effort, and Bailey Ober was charged with eighth loss after surrendering four runs on four hits in six innings. The Twins have dropped four of five. The New York Yankees will come to Minneapolis to open a three-game series tonight. Coverage begins at 6pm on KNUJ and SAM 107.3.
