Twins Lose To White Sox

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins fell apart in the top of the ninth during a 4-3 loss to the White Sox at Target Field. The Twins led 3-1 entering the inning before reliever Justin Topa surrendered three runs to get charged with the loss in relief. Royce Lewis had three hits and one R-B-I in the losing effort. Minnesota is in fourth place in the AL Central at 62-77. Michael A. Taylor hit a two-run, go-ahead double in the inning to put Chicago up for good. Edgar Quero hit his fifth home run in the victory, while Grant Taylor picked up his first win in relief. The Sox are in last place in the A-L Central at 52-88. Taj Bradley starts for the Twins against Chicago tonight hoping to salvage the final game of the four-game set. First pitch tonight is 6:40 P-M.
