Twins make some moves
(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Twins have parted ways with five players after roster moves yesterday. Pitchers Thomas Hatch, Michael Hatch, Genesis Cabrera and Anthony Misiewicz were all outrighted off the 40-man roster, as was infielder Jose Miranda. They are all free agents now. The team also lost pitcher Cody Laweryson to the Angels, who claimed him off waivers. Minnesota also took Alen Roden off the 60-day Injured List. The team also has made LaTroy Hawkins the bullpen coach.
