Twins reportedly have a new manager

(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Twins have found their new manager. Multiple media outlets are reporting that the Twins hired Derek Shelton to be their new skipper. Shelton spent the last six seasons managing the Pittsburgh Pirates before getting fired in May, finishing his tenure with a 306-and-440 managerial record. He was also Minnesota’s bench coach in 2018 and 2019. Shelton will replace Rocco Baldelli, who was fired by the team last month.
