Twins sign former Gold Glove Winner

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins are bringing in a Gold Glove outfielder for fortify the roster. The team signed Harrison Bader to a one-year contract worth 6.25-million dollars yesterday. The deal includes up to two-million dollars in bonuses as well as a mutual option for the 2026 season. Bader won a Gold Glove with St. Louis in 2021. He spent last year with the New York Mets, hitting .236 with 12 home runs and 51 R-B-I in 143 games. Twins pitchers and catchers report to Fort Myers on February 13th, while position players will join for the first scheduled full squad workout on February 17th. Minnesota will open the Grapefruit League season on Saturday, February 22nd against the Atlanta Braves in Fort Myers. The regular season opener is in St. Louis on March 27th, with the Twins’ home opener at Target Field coming against the Astros on April 3rd.
