Twins Snap Skid With Win In Florida
(Minnesota News Network- Miami, FL) — The Minnesota Twins knotted their three-game interleague series against the Miami Marlins at a game each after a 2-1 win in Florida last night. Carlos Correa hit a go-ahead single in the top of the fourth inning, while Simeon Woods Richardson earned his fourth win after holding Miami to one run on two hits in five innings. The Twins halted a three-game losing streak and are in second place in the A-L Central at 41-45. Kyle Stowers homered in the losing effort, and Janson Junk was charged with his first loss after surrendering two runs on six hits in six innings. The 38-46 Marlins had their eight-game winning streak snapped. The rubber match of the series is today at 11:10 A-M.
