Twins Sweep O’s

(Minneapolis, MN) — Brooks Lee’s two run double in the eighth inning broke a 2-2 tie as the Twins went on to beat the Orioles 5-2 to finish off a three game series sweep. While Lee’s double made it 4-2, Ty France finished the scoring with an R-B-I single to cap the victory. Byron Buxton, who had homered in three straight games, didn’t hit one on Thursday but did walk twice, scored twice, stole a base a threw out a runner at home. The Twins have now won five straight overall and 11 of their last 16. They’ll host the Giants this weekend starting tonight at Target Field. .
