Twins Trade Duran To Phillies
(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins are continuing to sell ahead of the trade deadline. Minnesota traded right-hander reliever Jhoan Duran to Philadelphia yesterday. The Phillies sent catcher Eduardo Tait and pitcher Mick Abel to the Twins in the deal. According to E-S-P-N, Tait ranked fourth and Abel ranked sixth among Philadelphia’s minor league prospects. The 27-year-old Duran is 6-4 with a 2.01 earned run average and 16 saves through 49 appearances this season. The Major League Baseball trade deadline is today, so there could be more movement from the Twins today.
