Twins Win Fourth In A Row

(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins hit a pair of home runs to help them a 5-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles at Target Field last night. Byron Buxton hit a three-run homer in the third inning and Harrison Bader hit a two-run shot in the seventh to complete the Twins’ scoring. Danny Coulombe earned the victory in relief. Minnesota has won four in a row and sits at 17-20. The O’s have dropped four in a row and are now 13-22. Baltimore’s Ramon Laureano and Heston Kjerstad each drove in a run in the loss. Charlie Morton got the loss after allowing three runs in four innings. Minnesota goes for the three-game sweep of the series with a 12:10 P-M game today in Minneapolis.
