Twins Win Series With Angels
he Minnesota Twins won the rubber match of their three-game series against the Los Angeles Angels 6-4 at Target Field last night. The Twins tied the game at two with a Willi Castro R-B-I single in the bottom of the fourth before Brooks Lee put Minnesota up for good with a two-run double. Matt Wallner belted his 13th home run in the victory, while Royce Lewis added an R-B-I double that missed being a grand slam by inches. Cole Sands earned his seventh win in relief, while Jhoan Duran picked up his 23rd save. Minnesota still has a three-game lead over Detroit for the final A-L Wild Card spot at 78-68.
