Twins win streak snapped at 13
(Milwaukee, WI/Minnesota News Network) — The Twins lost for the first time in more than two weeks as they fell to the Brewers 5-2 on Sunday afternoon in Milwaukee. Royce Lewis almost pulled the game even in the eighth inning but was robbed at the wall by Jackson Chourio and instead, the Twins see their 13 game winning streak stopped. It was the second longest winning streak in Twins history behind a 15 game streak back in 1991. That drops Minnesota to 26-21 on the season as they suffered their first loss since May 2nd. They return home to host Cleveland for three straight starting tonight followed by a three game set against Kansas City.
