Two Arrested After Pursuit in Willmar

A 29-year-old Willmar man and 28-year-old Ortonville woman are in custody after leading CEE-6 Drug and Gang Task Force agents on a motor vehicle pursuit in Southwest Willmar Monday morning.

Authorities say during the pursuit, it appeared the front seat passenger threw a bag out the side window, which was recovered and determined to be methamphetamine.

During the pursuit, the driver turned into a dead-end road and came to a stop. The two were then arrested.

Authorities say the Willmar man was a wanted fugitive from the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
