Two Die in Yellow Medicine Crash

Two people from Echo died in a two-vehicle crash in Yellow Medicine County Friday morning in Wood Lake Township.

The State Patrol says 41-year-old Jean Hodgman and her passenger 14-year-old Jonathan Ramos died at the scene. The Patrol says they were not wearing seat belts.

The driver of the other vehicle, 44-year-old Stacy Timm of Montevideo, was taken to Granite Falls Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened on Highway 274 at 190th Avenue at about 8am.
