Two Drivers Injured in Meeker County Crash

Two drivers were injured in a crash in Meeker County Tuesday northeast of Litchfield.

The State Patrol says 54-year-old Jay Schoenecker of Watkins was taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle, 60-year-old Anthony Fisher of Watkins suffered non-life-threatening injuries but did not require hospitalization.

The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 24 and County Road 34 just before noon.
