TWO HURT IN FOUR VEHICLE NEW ULM CRASH

Two people were hurt in a crash involving four vehicles at the intersection of 7th North and Minnesota Street in New Ulm.  Police say two motorcycles driven by John Lang and Melvin Cuka, both 69 of Richmond, were traveling west on 7th North and approaching Minnesota Street.  A Ford Edge driven by 61-year-old Kevin Fischer of New Ulm approached them from behind slowly.  A Buick Lacrosse driven by 25-year-old Cole Owens of New Ulm failed to slow down and rear-ended Fischer at regular speed.  He was taken to the hospital with back injuries and a passenger in his car had possible injuries.  Owens had mild chest pain but wasn’t transported.  Both motorcycle drivers were able to leave the scene and weren’t hurt.  The cars sustained moderate damage.
