TWO HURT IN NICOLLET COUNTY CRASH

Two people were hurt in a collision between a Chevy Silverado and a Dodge Caravan this (Wednesday) morning on Highway 14 in Nicollet Township Nicollet County.  The state patrol was called at 6:49 am to milepost 119.  The Silverado was driven by 19-year-old Preston Boomgarden of New Ulm.  He was hurt but was not taken to a medical facility.  The Dodge was driven by 75-year-old Dale Leo Mack of Nicollet.  He was taken to Mayo Hospital in Mankato with non-life threatening injuries.  Authorities say there was snow and ice on the road at the time.  Nicollet Fire Department, the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Ambulance assisted at the scene.
