TWO HURT WHEN MOTORCYCLE SWERVES TO MISS DEER IN BROWN COUNTY

Two Lake Crystal residents were hurt when the motorcycle they were on swerved to avoid hitting a deer Saturday afternoon on Highway 68 in Cottonwood Township Brown County.  The state patrol was called to the crash at milepost 121.  The motorcycle was driven by 37-year-old Monte Jay Martin of Lake Crystal.  He and his passenger 30-year-old Adriana Zarate of Lake Crystal were both taken to New Ulm Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Neither wore a helmet.  The Brown County Sheriff’s Office and Allina Ambulance assisted at the scene.
