Two Injured in Head-On McLeod County Crash

Two drivers were injured in a a head-on crash involving a semi and an SUV in McLeod County Monday afternoon west of Hutchinson.

The crash happened just before 5pm on Highway 7 in Acoma Township.

The State Patrol says 55-year-old Chadwick Chilson of West Concord was driving the semi and was taken to Regions Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Thirty-nine-year-old Tracy Busch of Litchfield was driving the SUV. She was taken to Regions Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says Busch lost control of the SUV due to weather condition resulting in the collision.
