Two Injured in McLeod Co Crash

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in McLeod County Saturday evening in Stewart.

The vehicles collided on Highway 212 at Bowman Street just after 7pm.

The State Patrol says the driver of one of the vehicles, 70-year-old Randal Kalenberg of Stewart, suffered non-life-threatening injuries but was not transported to a hospital.

A passenger in the other vehicle, 75-year-old Marleen Hartjes of Springfield, was taken to Glencoe Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The driver and another passenger in that vehicle were not injured.
