Two Injured in Motorcycle/Deer Crash Near Granite Falls

A driver and his passenger were injured when their motorcycle hit a deer in Yellow Medicine County Monday night south of Granite Falls.

The State Patrol says 71-year-old Raymond Cox of Redwood Falls was taken to Granite Falls Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. His passenger, 46-year-old Stephanie Cox of Redwood Falls, was flown to Centra Care in St. Cloud for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says they were traveling south on Highway 67 when they struck a deer near 254th Avenue just after 8:30pm.
