TWO REDWOOD FALLS RESIDENTS HURT IN MOTORCYCLE VS DEER CRASH

The state patrol was called to a motorcycle vs. deer crash in Yellow Medicine County Monday evening around 8:40 pm.  Authorities say a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 71-year-old Raymond Cox of Redwood Falls was southbound on Highway 67 when it struck a deer.  Cox was taken to Granite Falls Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  His passenger 46-year-old Stephanie Cox of Redwood Falls was flown to CentraCare in St. Cloud with non-life threatening injuries.  Neither wore a helmet.  Granite Falls Police, fire and ambulance and the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
