Unemployment Data for January
January unemployment figures for Minnesota counties were released this week by the Minnesota Employment and Economic Development office. The general trend shows an uptick in unemployment from the December data. Stevens County registered a 3.5 percent unemployment rate for January, which is up 0.6 percent from December.
