UNITED WAY OFFERING FREE TAX PREPARATION PROGRAM

The United Way of the Brown County area is partnering with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)program to provide a free tax preparation program starting Tuesday.  The program is fun by locak IRS-certified volunteers who work with the United Way and VITA to provide this service which is specifically for those who can’t afford to pay to have their  taxes done.  You need to schedule an appointment by calling 507-276-3186.  You are asked to be prepared with all your tax documents on the day and time of your appointment.  You can find out more at united way brown county area dot org or call 507-354-6512.  The program will run from Tuesday through April 15 in the lower level of the New Ulm Public Library.
