Update: Driver Apprehended and Charged in Hutchinson Hit and Run

Hutchinson police say the suspect was taken into custody and has been charged in connection with a hit and run incident that left an 80-year-old Hutchinson man injured after he was struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening.

The Hutchinson Police Department with assistance from the Glencoe Police Department, apprehended 57-year-old Juan Santos Diaz at Seneca Foods in Glencoe today (Thursday).

Diaz has been charged with Criminal Vehicular Operation – Substantial Bodily Harm – Driver Who Causes Collision Leaves Scene.

The Hutchinson man that was hit was taken to Hutchinson Health for treatment.
