USDA Officials Will Visit Morris to Highlight Rural Energy for America Program

USDA Rural Development State Director Colleen Landkamer, alongside other federal officials, will visit Morris, Minn. at 3 p.m. on Monday, April 22 to highlight USDA’s Rural Energy for America Program (REAP).

Landkamer will visit Richard Smith’s farm in Morris to tour his recently-installed solar array that was made possible by REAP funding. Smith’s solar array will save the farm an estimated $7,085 in annual energy costs by replacing 64,353 kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity per year.
