Vikings blasted on Thursday Night Football
(Inglewood, CA/Minnesota News Network) — Justin Herbert threw three touchdown passes as the L.A. Chargers slammed the Vikings 37-10 on Thursday night football at SoFi Stadium. The Vikings fall to 3-4 and have lost back to back games for the first time this season. Quarterback Carson Wentz got the start and was just 15 of 27 for 144 yards and a touchdown and an interception. He was also sacked five time and was dealing with a left shoulder injury throughout the game. Not helping matter, the injury list continued to grow as the game rolled on as cornerback Jeff Okuhad left in the third quarter with a concussion plus tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee) and tight end Josh Oliver (foot) both also left the game with injury. The Vikings are next in action a week from Sunday when they’re in Detroit to face the Lions at noon.
