Vikings Do Not Tag Darnold

The Minnesota Vikings could be moving into the J-J McCarthy era. The team did not use the franchise tag on quarterback Sam Darnold before yesterday’s deadline. However, there is a possibility that Minnesota can work to negotiate a new free agent deal with the Pro Bowl gunslinger before N-F-L free agency begins next week. Darnold passed for 4,319 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions last season.
