Vikings Eliminate Lions from the Playoffs
(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings have knocked the Detroit Lions out of playoff contention. The Purple beat the Pride 23-10 at US Bank Stadium on Christmas Day. Minnesota had six takeaways, and Jordan Addison sealed the win with a 65-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Harrison Smith had a sack and an interception in the victory, while Andrew Van Ginkel recorded one-and-a-half sacks and two fumble recoveries. The Vikings are on a four-game winning streak and are tied for third place in the N-F-C North at 8-and-8. They wrap up the season with a game against Green Bay on January 4th.
