Vikings extend Flores

(Eagan, MN/Minnesota News Network) — Brian Flores is close to returning to the Minnesota Vikings for his fourth season. The team signed its defensive coordinator to a multi-year contract extension yesterday. If Flores does not get a head coaching job this offseason, he’ll be back with the Purple for the 2026 campaign. Flores took over as Minnesota’s defensive coordinator ahead of the 2023 season. The Vikings have held opponents to under 20 points per game since he was first hired.
