Vikings Fall To Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons had Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback J-J McCarthy’s head spinning during a 22-6 win last night on Sunday Night Football. The Falcons defense racked up six sacks, intercepted two passes, and had two fumble recoveries. New kicker Parker Romo made all five of his field goals, while Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier combined to rush for over 200 yards and a touchdown. Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell says this was a bad night of football for his team.

The Falcons improved to 1-1. McCarthy passed for 158 yards and turned the ball over three times in the losing effort. The Purple fell to 1-1. Minnesota will host Cincinnati on Sunday.
