Vikings hold off Cowboys
(Arlington, TX/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Vikings pushed the Dallas Cowboys closer to playoff elimination with a 34-26 win at AT&T Stadium on Sunday Night Football. C-J Ham scored the go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter before J-J McCarthy tossed a touchdown pass to Jalen Nailor in the fourth quarter to help seal the victory. McCarthy passed for 250 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception and added a score on the ground. Minnesota improved to 6-8, but the Vikings were eliminated from playoff contention earlier in the day. Dallas Q-B Dak Prescott passed for 294 yards, while running back Javonte Williams added 91 yards with a rushing T-D. The Cowboys dropped to 6-7-and-1 and can be eliminated from postseason play if the Eagles win against the Commanders on Saturday. The Vikings visits the New York Giants on Sunday at noon.
