Vikings In Preseason Action Tonight In Tennessee

(Minnesota News Network- Nashville, TN) — The Minnesota Vikings wrap up preseason play with a game against the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium tonight. The Vikings are 1-1 in exhibition play after losing to the Patriots 20-12 last Saturday. Most of the team’s starters will not play in tonight’s contest, leaving the playing time to guys who are fighting for roster spots. Safety Josh Metellus will not play tonight, but says he has been helping the younger players get ready and understand the importance of tonight’s exhibition game. He was a guy who earlier in his career needed preseason performances to make the team, so believes he can impart some wisdom onto the young players. The host Titans are also 1-1 in exhibition play. Tonight’s game kicks off at 7 P-M.
