Twins beat Rangers
(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — Byron Buxton had a big game at the plate as the Minnesota Twins beat the Texas Rangers 6-2 at Target Field. Buxton went 3-for-3 with a home run and three R-B-I’s, while Willi Castro drove in two runs. David Festa earned his first win after holding Texas to two runs on three hits in six innings. The Twins have won two of three. Marcus Semien went deep in the losing effort, and Jack Leiter was charged with the loss after surrendering four runs on five hits in four innings. Texas had its three-game winning streak snapped.
