Vikings Prepare For Eagles

(Minnesota News Network- Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings will spend the week gearing up for their game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The Purple were on bye this past week, and they are in third place in the N-F-C North with a 3-2 record. Philly is on a two-game skid following a lackluster loss to the Giants on Thursday Night Football. The Eagles are 4-2 on the season. Sunday’s game kicks off at noon at U-S Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis. The Vikings will have an afternoon practice at team headquarters in Eagan today.

N-F-C North: Packers Down Bengals In Green Bay (Green Bay, WI) — The Green Bay Packers fended off the Cincinnati Bengals in a 27-18 victory at Lambeau Field. The Bengals had cut Green Bay’s lead to six points with under five minutes remaining before Lucas Havrisik kicked a 39-yard field goal to seal the win. Jordan Love completed 19-of-26 passes for 259 yards, one touchdown and an interception. Josh Jacobs rushed for 93 yards and two T-Ds. The Packers are first in the N-F-C North at 3-1-and-1. Joe Flacco passed for 219 yards and two touchdowns in his Cincinnati debut. Ja’Marr Chase racked up 10 catches for 94 yards and a T-D. The Bengals are 2-4.

N-F-C North: Mahomes Shines In Chiefs Win Over Lions (Kansas City, MO) — Patrick Mahomes sparked the Kansas City Chiefs offense during a 30-17 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football. Mahomes passed for three touchdowns and added another on the ground as Kansas City took a lead late in the second quarter and never looked back. Hollywood Brown caught a pair of scores, while Mahomes finished with 257 passing yards. The Chiefs improved to 3-3. Jared Goff passed for 203 yards and two touchdowns in the losing effort. The 4-2 Lions had their four-game winning streak snapped.

N-F-C North: Bears Visit Commanders (Landover, MD) — The Chicago Bears go for their third win in a row when they visit the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium tonight. The Bears had a bye in Week Six after beating the Raiders 25-24 on September 28th. Chicago is in last place in the N-F-C North at 2-2.
