Vikings Prepping For Joint Workouts With Patriots
(Minnesota News Netw0rk- Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings begin two days of joint practices with the New England Patriots today and tomorrow as part of training camp. The two teams will then play a preseason game on Saturday at noon at U-S Bank Stadium. Vikes safety Josh Metellus says it is a good time to get another team on the training camp grass and break the monotony of going against the same guys every day. He says this can be a valuable couple of days for everyone on the roster. Practices both days begin at noon at T-C-O Performance Center in Eagan. Meanwhile, bad news for receiver Rondale Moore. It was confirmed he suffered a season-ending knee injury in Saturday’s 20-10 preseason win over Houston. Moore was placed on Injured Reserve. Minnesota also confirmed reserve center Zeke Correll suffered a broken ankle in the exhibition game and he has been waived with an injury designation. The team also waived linebacker Brian Asamoa.
