Vikings Resume Training Camp Today
(Minnesota News Network- Eagan, MN) — Training camp resumes today for the Minnesota Vikings at team headquarters in Eagan. The Vikes were off yesterday and are scheduled to have their first fully-padded practice this afternoon. Head coach Kevin O’Connell was excited over the weekend to get safety Josh Metellus locked into a three-year contract extension. Today is the first of three straight days of workouts before an off day on Thursday. Minnesota will open the preseason slate with a home game against Houston on Saturday, August 9th at U-S Bank Stadium.
