Vikings Shut Out By Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks trampled the Minnesota Vikings in a 26-0 shutout victory in an N-F-C clash at Lumen Field yesterday. The Seattle defense made it tough on Minnesota rookie quarterback Max Brosmer (BROZE-mer), who was 19-for-30 for 126 yards and four interceptions. Seattle defender Ernest Jones came up with the play of the game on an 85-yard “pick six” in the second quarter. Jones had two of the team’s four interceptions in Seattle’s second straight win. Former Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold completed 14-of-26 passes for 128 yards for Seattle, while Zach Charbonnet (shar-buh-nay) and Kenneth Walker the Third combined to rush for 108 yards and a T-D. The Seahawks are second in the N-F-C West at 9-3 due to a tiebreaker with the Rams. Minnesota is at the bottom of the N-F-C North at 4-8. The Vikes host Washington this Sunday at noon.
