Vikings Wrap Up Minicamp
(Minnesota News Network- Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings are finished with their three-day mandatory minicamp after wrapping up yesterday’s workout at team headquarters in Eagan. Vikes head coach Kevin O’Connell say he has been impressed with quarterback J-J McCarthy so far this offseason. O’Connell says the signal-caller continues to build the trust of his teammates. Right tackle Brian O”Neill missed yesterday’s practice for personal reasons. The Vikings are scheduled to have a final week of Organized Team Activities next week. Minnesota will have training camp beginning late next month and their first preseason game is slated for Saturday, August 9th against Houston at U-S Bank Stadium. That will be the first of three exhibition games. The regular season opener is Monday, September 8th at Chicago.
