WALZ ANNOUNCES $10-MILLION FOR RAPIDAN DAM RECOVERY EFFORTS
Governor Walz is announcing $10-million for Rapidan Dam recovery efforts. Walz says the dam impacts everyone in Minnesota whether you use the road to get your kids back and forth to town to school or whatever, or whether you live in Minneapolis and this agricultural area is moving goods that support you and your family, this is where the state comes together to work on infrastructure projects. The governor’s office says the funding would be available for riverbank stabilization and/or dam removal costs. The money comes from an $887-million bonding proposal by Walz which would fund projects across the state.
