WATONWAN COUNTY ROAD 3, PART OF HIGHWAY 60 PROJECT DETOUR, TO UNDERGO WORK STARTING MONDAY

MnDOT is going to start pavement and shoulder improvements on Watonwan County Road 3 just east of Madelia Monday and Tuesday.  County Road 3 along with Blue Earth County Road 13 and Highway 169 serve as the designated detour routes for the Highway 60 project.  MnDOT is going to resurface a 1.5-mile section of Watonwan County Road 3 to improve the roadway surface and shoulders for motorists.  MnDOT says eastbound traffic will remain on the existing detour route with flaggers assisting you.  Westbound traffic will be detoured north on Blue Earth County Road 32 to Highway 60 and then west.  The Highway 60 project through Lake Crystal includes reconstructing the highway from Blue Earth County Road 20 to County Road 112.
