WCHA Playoffs Set

(Undated/Minnesota News Network) — The W-C-H-A regular season came to a close Sunday with number-one Wisconsin beating St. Cloud State 4-2 to clinch the regular season championship. The league playoffs start on Friday on campus sites. The opening weekend features best-of-three series with the winners advancing to the 2026 W-C-H-A Final Faceoff. This year’s Final Faceoff will be contested at Lee & Penny Anderson Arena in St. Paul from March 5-7. Here is the weekend W-C-H-A First Round Playoff schedule: FRIDAY (Game One): Minnesota State-Mankato at Minnesota-Duluth, 2 P-M St. Thomas at Ohio State, 5 P-M St. Cloud State at Minnesota, 6 P-M Bemidji State at Wisconsin, 6 P-M SATURDAY (Game Two): Minnesota State-Mankato at Minnesota-Duluth, 1 P-M St. Cloud State at Minnesota, 2 P-M St. Thomas at Ohio State, 2 P-M Bemidji State at Wisconsin, 3 P-M SUNDAY (Game Three, if necessary): Minnesota State-Mankato at Minnesota-Duluth, 1 P-M St. Thomas at Ohio State, 2 P-M Bemidji State at Wisconsin, 2 P-M St. Cloud State at Minnesota, 3 P-M
