Weather rumbles through Southern Minnesota
(Chanhassen, MN/Minnesota News Network) — Severe storms Sunday evening are blamed for flash flooding in parts of southern Minnesota. The National Weather Service reports flooding closed several roads in the Waseca area and there was water over Highway 14 near Walnut Grove. Several funnel clouds were spotted near Delavan in Faribault County and a 55-mile-per-hour wind gust was recorded north of Hanska in Brown County. Most of central and southern Minnesota were under a flash flood watch through this morning.
