Mankato West was a 9 to 2 winner over New Ulm, St James defeats USC 8 to 7, Mankato East was a 6 to 1 winner over Marshall and Cleveland defeats Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey 5 to 2.

Softball Results from Saturday:

Farmington wins the Mankato tourney, defat Mankato East 10 to 1, New Ulm takes Third with an 8 to 2 win over New Prague, Byron defeats Benilde/St Margaret’s 4 to 3 to finish in fifth and Lesueur/Henderson was a 7 to 5 winner over Jordan to finish in seventh. Wabasso wins a pair at the Rabbit Invite, 7 to 5 over Murray County Central and 6 to 0 over Edgerton/SWC, Mayer Lutheran was a 17 to 5 winner over GFW, Cleveland wins big over Madelia 17 to 2 and Martin County West wins a pair in Lamberton, 6 to 5 over YME and 17 to 0 over RRC/WWG.

Tennis results from Saturday:

St James wins a pair, 6 to 1 over Westonka and 5 to 2 over Spring Lake Park and Southwest Christian defeats St Peter 7 to 0.

Sunday amateur finals:

Tomahawk East results-New Ulm 14 to 0 winner over Essig, Leavenworth was an 8 to 2 winner over Gibbon, St James defeats Fairfax 17 to 0, Courtland was a 14 to 6 winner over Lamberton, Hanska was a 9 to 7 winner over Stark and Sleepy Eye opens the season with a 9 to 6 win over Searles.

Young America was a 14 to 0 winner over Westonka, Plato defeats Green Isle 8 to 0, Brownton was a 6 to 4 winner over Arlington, Glencoe defeats Winsted 5 to 2, Norwood was a 14 to 4 winner over Hamburg and Cologne was a 7 to 1 winner over New Germany.
