WELLS MAN KILLED IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH
A Wells man died in a motorcycle crash Saturday. The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office was called shortly before midnight at 600th Avenue in rural Wells. Authorities say 46-year-old Alan Knutson was driving a sport motorcycle northbound on 600th Avenue, failed to negotiate a turn, went into the ditch and crashed. He was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene. The state patrol, Wells police, fire and community ambulance all assisted at the scene.
