Which Country Star Is The Richest?

Who is County Music’s richest star?   If you guessed Dolly Parton, you’d be right.

Dolly has an estimated fortune of $650 million, according to reports. Garth Brooks has an estimated $400 million and Shania Twain, an estimated $350-$410 million, to put them in the running for the second spot behind Parton on the country music list.

Nobody can touch Taylor Swift, who has an estimated $1.6 billion, but she’s not exactly considered country anymore so Dolly Parton takes the cake (or in this case, the dough) according to all estimates.

Parade highlighted Parton’s fortune earlier this year and showcased her profitable business enterprise.   It’s not just that she’s a hitmaker.   She has had a successful acting career and she has multiple successful books and product lines on the business side that have allowed her to make all that money.

Parade’s story also focused on her philanthropic side:  “It has been speculated that the singer could have achieved billionaire status if she were not so generous with her money, constantly investing in many philanthropic endeavors.”
