White Sox blast Twins
(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Chicago White Sox launched four home runs during a 12-3 win over the Minnesota Twins at Target Field last night. Andrew Benintendi had two home runs and five R-B-I in the victory, while Kyle Teel and Lenyn Sosa also went yard for the visiting White Sox. Davis Martin earned his sixth win after giving up three runs on six hits in six innings. The Southsiders are in last place in the A-L Central at 51-88. Minnesota reliever Thomas Hatch was charged with his first loss with the Twins, who are in fourth place in the Central at 62-76. Game three of the four-game series is tonight in downtown Minneapolis at 6:40 P-M.
