Wild Active In Free Agent Market

(Minnesota News Network- St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild might have their new back-up goalie. The team signed Cal Petersen to a one-year deal yesterday. Petersen will be paid 775-thousand dollars in the 2025-26 season. The 30-year-old missed last season and most recently played with the Flyers in 2023-24. In other Wild news, Minnesota also added four players to two-way contracts yesterday. In addition, the team signed forward Bradley Marek, forward Nicolas Aube-Kubel, defenseman Ben Gleason, defenseman Matt Kiersted, and forward Tyler Pitlick.
